Emirates’ ‘One-Stop Visa Shop’ And Competitive Fares Make Dubai Ideal Destination for Cambodian Travellers
Phnom Penh, October 30, 2024 – Emirates, the world’s largest international airline has made travelling to Dubai more convenient and affordable for Cambodian travellers, with its ‘one-stop shop’ for UAE visas, competitive fares, and seamless connections to more than 140 destinations in the airline’s global network via Dubai and Singapore.
Emirates resumed a daily Phnom Penh to Dubai service via Singapore in May this year, and is offering Cambodian travellers a ‘hassle-free’ way to obtain a tourist visa to the UAE when booking flight tickets with the airline– without even setting foot inside an embassy. Now all Emirates passengers who need a visa to travel to Dubai can apply for their visas at the Emirates office on the 16th floor of The Peak in Phnom Penh.
In addition to convenience, Emirates is also offering competitive pricing on flights to Singapore and beyond. The seamless connection through Singapore means that Cambodian travellers can now cost-effectively take advantage of Emirates’ vast flight network to fly to popular gateways across Europe, the Middle East, North America and Africa.
“At Emirates, we recognise that Cambodians are becoming more and more adventurous in their choice of leisure destinations. It is for this reason that we want to make travelling within our vast network as convenient and cost-effective as possible,” said Mohammed Al Qassim, Emirates’ Country Manager for Cambodia.
Starting from 27th October 2024 until 29th March 2025, Emirates is enhancing its service between Phnom Penh, Singapore, and Dubai with a convenient new flight schedule.
Passengers departing Phnom Penh on flight EK 349 will enjoy an evening departure at 21:30, arriving in Singapore at 00:30 (+1 day), followed by a smooth 2-hour layover before heading onward to Dubai at 02:30, arriving at 06:00 (+1 day) – perfect for early morning connections.
For those flying into Cambodia on EK 348, the journey begins with a 04:30 morning departure from Dubai, arriving in Singapore at 15:40, where a brief 1:45-hour layover will lead to a 17:25 departure, landing in Phnom Penh at a convenient 18:25. Operated daily by Emirates' modern Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, this schedule offers travelers more flexibility and comfort, making it easier than ever to connect between these vibrant cities.
Emirates international website www.emirates.com encourages international travellers to explore Cambodia’s many attractions including Khmer history, art and culture in the capital city, Phnom Penh, as well as the country’s stunning landscapes and beaches.
In May, the resumption of Emirates daily services was marked by an official welcome ceremony presided over by His Excellency MAO Havannall, Minister in charge of Cambodia's State Secretariat of Civil Aviation at Phnom Penh International (Pochentong) Airport.
With Emirates, the holiday begins inflight, with Emirates’ award-winning inflight entertainment system ice offering over 6,500 channels of movies, TV shows, music, and games, on demand and in multiple languages. All passengers can also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity onboard, once they sign up to join Emirates Skywards, and savour the flavours of their destinations through multicourse meals and complimentary drinks.
